The Windows Dip

The windows dip and the wind pours in
I’m on a ship, and it’s dark again
Sailing through shades of gray
Light is darkness; night is day
Its warmer here, than it is over there,
But I am still the same, as is the weather
The rays of darkness cut through my soul,
And the shroud of light cracks my bones,
The rich blood pours through my veins
I am life beating like a heart, pounding like thunder.
The blinking of my soul is like an eye
Seeing realms of unknown bliss
Sounds of powerful rain falling softly
As the fragrance of beauty fill my senses
I am but one man in search of a keyhole.
